Privacy Statement

Whenever you contact us, your personal data is handled with the utmost care and discretion, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What do we do with your personal data?

We keep it only for our communication with you and, if needed, for administrative purposes.

You appreciate the books by Christiane Beerlandt and her life philosophy, and . . .

. . . You have a question

If you just ask us a question, your personal data will not be stored in our files.  It will only be used to answer your question.

. . . You receive our newsletters

If you have signed up for our newsletters, we will store your personal data in a protected database for as long as we continue to send newsletters or until you indicate that you no longer wish to receive them.

We will only send you our newsletters and/or our catalog if you have explicitly requested us to do so.  It may be that you have done this by giving us your name and address details, for example by sending us back the reply card that is in the books, or by filling in a form intended for this purpose during a talk, lecture or event.  It is also possible that you have filled in the website form or that you have requested us to keep your details in an e-mail or during a telephone call.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our electronic newsletters or — if you only receive the paper version of our newsletter — by letting us know by e-mail to info@christianebeerlandt.com or by ordinary mail to Beerlandt Publications — Populierenstraat 11 — 9570 Lierde — Belgium.

. . . You ordered books

When you order books through us, we need your name, address, e-mail address, phone number and payment information.  Sometimes it is essential that we pass on your details to, for example, delivery services or to our distribution center in order to be able to execute your order flawlessly.  Your data will then only be used as long as necessary to provide this service.

. . . You take part in an event

You are more than welcome to attend lectures, talks, awareness-deepening afternoons, or other events around the work of Christiane Beerlandt.  If you subscribe to an event, we will register your name, phone number and/or email address.  In this way we know that you will come and we can reach you if something should intervene.  After the event we will delete your data, unless you signed up for our newsletters.

Your Personal Data Remain Your Property

Mutual Trust

We appreciate that you have entrusted us with your personal information.  We don’t want to violate your trust.  Therefore we protect your data with the utmost care, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Access to your data within the framework of GDPR

You may at any time ask us for information about the personal data we have stored about you.  You have the right to have your data corrected or deleted.  To do so, simply send an e-mail to info@christianebeerlandt.com or contact us by regular mail: Beerlandt Publications — Populierenstraat 11 — 9570 Lierde — Belgium.  What we do ask is to identify yourself if you wish to request information about your stored personal data.  We do this in order to comply with the conditions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Deletion of your data will be implemented unless we are required by law to retain the data concerned, for example, in the event of mandatory retention periods under trade or tax regulations.
